Identify the stops you actually need
Map which rooms and levels matter. If a staircase changes direction or has an intermediate landing, ask for a measured plan showing all intended stops. Do not buy an additional flight simply because it can be included.
Compare the transfer, not only the price
Separate straight lifts may require moving between chairs. Ask an assessor whether that movement is practical for the intended user and whether the landing provides enough working space. A continuous custom rail needs its own measured design and price.
Count every service obligation
With two units, ask how servicing, batteries and fault visits are priced for each. With one curved route, clarify custom-order commitments and parts support. Obtain the layout and support terms together before making a deposit.
Keep the proposal comparable
- Exact equipment and a measured rail layout.
- Preparation, installation, demonstration and written terms.
- Servicing at the actual address, parts and removal responsibilities.
